2023 Team Shelby Goodwood Revival VIP Experience (September 7-10)

The glorious Goodwood Revival in England is honoring the Carroll Shelby Centennial and Team Shelby is offering club members the opportunity to be part of the celebration. Join the Duke of Richmond, the Shelby family, Shelby American President Gary Patterson and Team Shelby International Director Tracey Smith, along with Superformance's Lance and Deborah Stander for an amazing experience.
The Goodwood Revival is the world's greatest historic motor race meeting, and the only sporting event of its kind to be staged entirely in a period theme. More than just an unrivalled weekend of historic racing, it is an immersive experience.
All the cars are original, having been lovingly maintained since new. Guests are encouraged to dress in period clothing honoring the lifespan of the Goodwood Motor Circuit and airfield. Outfits range from 1940s WWII era clothing to 1950s and 1960s gear. Many outfits have been handed down through generations, and even the retailers specialize in pre-owned artifacts - everything from clothes and accessories to automobilia and books.
As Goodwood celebrates 75 years of the Motor Circuit and 25 years of the Revival, it will reflect on motorsport legends. Carroll Shelby raced at Goodwood during one of the most dramatic races in British motorsport: the 1959 RAC Tourist Trophy. Earlier in the season, Shelby had won Le Mans and victory in the Tourist Trophy secured the World Championship for Aston Martin. When racing returned to Goodwood for the Revival, Shelby attended the event in 2000 where he ran a Shelby Daytona Coupe driven by IndyCar champion and F1 driver Danny Sullivan.
The centenary of Shelby's birth will be honored with one of Goodwood's signature tributes with cars that were not only raced, but also designed and developed by the 1959 Le Mans winner. The celebration will include a display of historic vehicles like the MG-TC in which Shelby competed for the very first time, as well as an assortment of Shelby Cobras on the Track. The Whitsun Trophy will host many examples of the Ford GT40, whose design Shelby played such an integral part in refining.

Team Shelby can refer you to an International travel agent to arrange a flight, car rental and hotel in the UK, as well as any other European outings while there. A logistics partner is available to transport your personal vehicle to the UK for the trip if you choose.
TRIP COST
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are based on a person with their own room or couple sharing a room with another. While we do our best to maintain the listed price, because our prices are set far in advance, we reserve the right to increase costs due to circumstances beyond our control; tariffs, taxes, and VAT received after prices are published and to reflect fluctuations in foreign exchange markets. The cost is based on a minimum number of guests.
