North Texas Shelby Weekend
Join Team Shelby Southern Plains Region as we celebrate the Carroll Shelby Centennial. The weekend of June 9-11, you can honor the legend with fellow enthusiasts at a Shelby car show, banquet, parties and more.
The festivities start with a welcome party on Friday evening, followed by an invitation from the Shelby Cobra Association of Texas to join their dinner in Plano. Then you can enjoy an after party with your friends at the Sandman Signature Plano-Frisco Hotel.
The next morning, cruise with your friends to the Annual Shelby Car Show sponsored by Third Coast Bank, hosted by Shelby Cobra Association of Texas. You'll feel like a VIP parked near the official Shelby rig.
That evening, Team Shelby is hosting a banquet at Sam Pack Five Star Ford with luminaries including Aaron Shelby, Gary Patterson, Tracey Smith and more. The event will also raise money for the Carroll Shelby Foundation, which helps kids win the race in life, including scholarships for the Carroll Shelby Automotive Program in East Texas. Your package includes another after party at the host hotel.
On Sunday morning, feast on donuts and coffee as you bid your friends adios until next year.
Schedule
Friday:
3-5:45 pm - Check in hotel, pick up badges and swag bags (Masterpiece detailers will be on site at the host hotel)
6-9 pm - Shelby Cobra Association of Texas welcome reception at Maguires Bistro with buffet dinner ($35 p/p with cash bar and charity auction, pay for your meal at the restaurant)
9pm - ?? - Happy Hour at host hotel
Saturday:
7:00 am - Morning meeting
7:15 am - Cruise to car show
9 am-1 pm - Annual Shelby Car Show sponsored by Third Coast Bank, hosted by Shelby Cobra Association of Texas (online registration available May 1 via SCAT)
2-3:30 pm - Happy Hour at host hotel
4:15 pm - Afternoon meeting
4:30-5 pm - Cruise to Five Star Ford Dallas
5-6 pm - Tour of Sam Pack's Private Collection
6-9 pm - BBQ Dinner/auction/raffle in support of CSF, celebration of Carroll Shelby's 100th birthday
Sunday:
7-9 am - Coffee and donuts at host hotel
Pricing
Full Event (Swag bag, dinner, breakfast): $100 per person
T-Shirt: $25 per person (additional to event ticket)
Kids 12 & under: FREE on Saturday night
