Please come join us as we continue the 100th Centennial Celebration of Carroll Shelby in beautiful Lake Tahoe!
As
in years past, we will be meeting in Old Town Sacramento at Steamer’s. From
there we will be going up I-80 to Auburn, and then up Hwy 49 thru Grass Valley
and Nevada City to Hwy 20 before we stop briefly at the Donner Summit Rainbow
Bridge and continue down past the lake thru Truckee and over to Tahoe Vista at
Tahoe.
The
trip will be about 130 miles, and yes- there will be a rest/ gas stop along the
way.
Once
we arrive at our private destination, we can all have a relaxing day, and enjoy
a wonderful lunch catered by Back Forty BBQ! They will be cooking up a great
spread for us including Smoked Brisket, Pork Ribs, BBQ Chicken, Sausage, BBQ
Beans, Green Salad and Fresh Fruit!
Remember
to bring a hat, sunscreen, your favorite chair.
