5" Black 1966 GT40 MKII
For the 1966 racing season, Shelby American reengineered the GT40 race car to accept Ford's 427 ci big-block V8. Dubbed the "MKII", it had the breakthrough performance necessary for the Ford to finally beat Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Driven by Bruce McLaren and Chris Amon, the Shelby American team's black MKII captured the checkered flag. This Heritage Edition 1966 GT40 MKII diecast celebrates that historic achievement, along with the famous "1-2-3" Ford finish.
