In his book "Ford GT", Preston Lerner provides an in-depth look at the car built to beat the world, as well as the detailed back story leading to Ford's 1-2-3 sweep of Le Mans in 1966 and again in 1967. The GT40's final two races in 1968 and 1969 are also covered, for a complete view of this remarkable era in racing. Additional features include rare images shot by Shelby American photographer Dave Friedman.
