Shelby Adjustable Panhard Bar

What a panhard bar does:
The purpose of the panhard bar is to prevent lateral movement (side to side or backward and forward) of the rear axle. In essence, it was designed to allow for movement in a vertical plane.

How does Shelby improve on this?
Factory original panhard bars are made from small diameter tubing with rubber bushings, which allow for deflection under load. This problem frequently occurs in Shelby Mustangs.

Shelby American's adjustable panhard rod is made from 1.25" DOM tubing (drawn over mandrel tubing) and finished with high performance polyurethane bushings. Our bar features left and right hand threads so that it can be adjusted while on your Ford or Shelby Mustang. The adjusters themselves are made from super strong 4130 chromoly and are complemented by 304 stainless end spacers.

If you want the ultimate in performance handling characteristics, Shelby's panhard bars are an excellent addition. They are especially important for lowered or vehicles with wider than factory wheels/tires.
